Great Truckin indeed and 11/6/77 also features the #1 greatest of them all HALF STEP.

(I will get dissent from proponents of 5/7/77 and 9/3/77, both of which are excellent, but neither of which climbs to the heights of 11/6/77.)

this might be like the best H2H debate...09-03 and 11-06 are neck and neck in my book, with 05-07 a notch and a half below...

Those three you mention were always my favorite three as well, but then I heard this version:

and I now have a strong new contender for the favorite (#1) spot. Doesn't 'soar' like that 77 stuff, but it's a beauty nonetheless...

the 72 has decidedly better Bobby tone. In fact, his tone from 72 thru 74 is just incredible to my ears.

and yeah, thanks truckers!

Here is a punchy 72' version with a spirited Jerry vocal, the end jam starts at about 6:00 and is regrettably shorter (about 1;30) than the 11/12 version, but it is potent.

10/27/72 has got some Focussed Jerry blues jams almost hits a Nobody's there it sounds like. Not sure I have ever heard as much sustained clapping. It is like the tune is walking on Cheetos. Very cool effect. Goes into Other one fades and then picks up again in 1/2 step which Jerry totally soars on at the end. Dew here is awesome. My source on this one changes to a board in time for Tomorrow is Forever. I guess don't look a gift horse in the mouth - but that is kind of a cruel twist.

That's a good point about the clapping,i bailed at 45 seconds and they were still going,it generally fades out shortly after the vocal starts.I liked this show more for the song portion than the jam stuff. It has good versions of GSET,Ramble on Rose,Sugar Mag and Tomorrow is Forever. The sound quality is what it is,like you mentioned,I am always happy we have what we have.

ENGLISHTOWN! May 77 is overhyped and 11-06 is good... but the jam at the beginning of the coda in the Englishtown version is unmatched.
